F) DENSITY: Both timbers are light hardwood -rubber wood with a density of 480 to 650kg m- and Acacia mangium with a density of 467 to 675 kg m 3(based on 14-year-old trees) at 15% moisture content. This makes the woods suitable for a wide range of products, especially furniture production. The timbers are also a good source of fibres from medium density fibreboard (MDF) production.
•Avoid exposing the wooden furniture to excessive heat or direct sunlight as this can cause cracking and deterioration of the colour.
•Wooden furniture must always be protected from warm objects, strong cleaning agents and water. Strongly coloured liquids such as coffee, tea or red wine should be wiped up immediately
•Although our furniture is dry-kilned and treated, we advise you not to place anything hot or wet directly onto the surface as staining may occur. Instead, try using protective mats or coasters. Any spills should be wiped up immediately with a damp cloth.
•Wooden furniture should be used indoors, unless the furniture is specifically intended by the manufacturer for outdoor use.
•Take care when moving furniture and never drag the pieces across the floor as this will cause damage to the joints.
H) DAILY CARE INSTRUCTIONS
•Wipe off with a dry cloth
•Your indoor furniture may not be prone to the direct sun and rains, but it is definitely prone to spills. So clean the spills regularly.
•Use a soft cloth, and a soap solution to clean the wood. And wipe them dry after you are done.
•Several wood preservative products are available in the market, apply them on your acacia wood. Before you apply them, read the instructions specified on the products.
•If you feel that your furniture has lost its gloss, then you can apply shine restoring products. When you buy any shine restoring product, read its specifications, and make sure that it is suitable for your wood.
